Lemon Shrimp Kabobs
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup salad oil
2 tbls. dark corn syrup
2 tbls. vinegar
1/2 clove garlic
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 lbs. shrimp, peeled and cleaned
2 lemons, cut into wedges


In a blender combine chili sauce, salad oil, corn syrup, vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper; cover. Blend on high speed until sauce is smooth. If desired wrap tails of shrimp with aluminum foil to prevent burning during broiling. Thread lemon wedges and shrimp on skewers. Broil over medium coals 6 to 8 minutes on each side, brushing with sauce occasionally. To serve, squeeze juice from hot lemon wedges over shrimp. Yields 6 servings.
